Koeman need new players

Ronald Koeman has told the Everton board that he will need new players if they want the team to improve.

He said that there is not a lot he can do with the current squad at his disposal and that they will need to give him additional resources if they want to aim higher in the league.

Ronald Koeman said that although he has some good players in the Everton team at the moment, he lacks strength in depth. Indeed his squad has been decimated even further by injuries.

He made this statement after Everton struggled in an FA Cup match where Koeman played some fringe players. He said that the Premier League is a demanding league and that you need a big squad if you want to participate in both the FA Cup and the Premier League.

He said that he has already spoken with the board and that they are aware of his demand. He believes that the board should make an effort if they want the club to improve. He said that he already has some players in mind and it is up to the board to provide him with the financial backing to improve the team.

Everton has so far enjoyed a good campaign, and Ronald Koeman feels that they can build on that. He said that the players have assimilated his playing tactics and that they are attentive to his instructions. He believes that Everton can have a good season, but it will depend on how much support he can get in the January transfer window.

He admitted that it might be hard to get quality players in the middle of the season, but he believes that there are some players that might be open to changing clubs because of lack of playing time.
