Chris Ramsey wants to make a return to the Premier League

Queens Park Rangers couldn’t keep themselves alive in the Premier League during the 2014-15 season and were relegated after only being able to win 8 matches of the total 38 which were played and will be competing once again in the Championship League. However, Chris Ramsey wants to make it back to the top tier English League but in order for that to happen, his team is going to need some improvements and a few changes within the squad have already occurred.

Chris Ramsey has secured the services of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas from Bristol City on a free transfer. Emmanuel-Thomas is a 24 year old English forward who made over 80 appearances for his previous club Bristol City but his goal-scoring statistics haven’t been as impressive as he made less than 30 goals in his 2 seasons for the English League One club.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas signed a 3 year long deal with Queens Park Rangers which took effect on July 1rst.

After the deal was made official, Emmanuel-Thomas said that Les Ferdinand as well as Chris Ramsey convinced him of making a move to the Loftus Road Stadium. The 24 year old summer signing of Queens Park Rangers said: “This is a new chapter for me and I can’t wait to get started here. As soon as I spoke to Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey and they explained the way they want QPR to play, it was an easy decision for me. I’m here to come in and do a job and I’m confident I can keep improving as a player.”

Other than Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, another one of the summer targets of Queens Park Rangers is Tjaronn Chery who plays for FC Groningen. QPR has already offered an offer of €2.5 and the English side is hoping that it will be enough to lure in the 27 year old Dutch midfielder Tjaronn Chery.
